be radically honest

Silence is the creator of misunderstanding and pain.

The only way to beat it is honesty.

Honesty requires courage.

Silence is a war of position, indeed honesty is a war of movement, it may require more resources in the short term but is worth it, inded silence is destructive, it kills you from the inside and it deprive you of any unrestrained thought.

Being honest is a work of analyzing yourself and understanding if you are acting driven by selfishness, envy or pureless self-kindness.

Can you be honest without being selfish?

I think it depends on the reason why you are being honest because honesty is not always the best solution.

I believe sometimes the world requires a few little white lies, only if the purpose of those is made with a kid’s innocence and not your self-esteem.

Being honest is part of being selfish, you have to mind your businesses to protect them.

Sometimes we do not say how things are because we are afraid of losing the relationship or receiving an unpleasant response.

But at the same time, we keep that war of position, making our anger and discomfort grow daily, until what we had tried to avoid since the beginning happens.

We are not even aware of the possibility of keeping everything, often there is something that you can say that will solve the situation.

Honesty can help you a lot and take you away as much, don’t use it as an excuse to avoid your responsibility or to treat others like you would not like to be treated, honesty can not replace kindness.

I refer to being radically honest as being the best kind, gentlest person that you possibly be, and use those characteristics to say the most possible truth that could save time and pain to a lot of people.
