It is not a way of saying “the time is gold” because time is the greatest resource we have, no thing or persona is important if we don’t have time to spend with them.
So is important the capacity of organize your time. I realized that I procrastinate more the days that I have more time. Instead when we have short time, we are forced not to procrastinate.
I often heard stupid methods to became more disciplined or constancy, but I don’t believe in theory, I believe more in practice.
When maybe we are on the bed and we must get up to go to work, I should search a thing in the process that is able to get me up. For example, I can think of when I will warm up in front of the stove.
I cling to something that is able to move me.
But in some cases we are too good at procrastinating and finding any method to postpone our duty as long as possible.
And usually the solution is the simplest, just do it, stop thinking and wake up, if you don’t have time to create a solution to postpone your duty you can’t do it.
Yes, time is gold, when is enough?
During this summer I had a lot of free time, this gave me time to practice my hobby, I tried to study and read a lot, carry on my projects and build my body.
but I had too high expectations, this destroyed me, within a month I was finished in burn-out.
I went to the extreme.
I did not accept a break, and I regretted when I was exhausted and lay on the sofa to rest even for a short time.
So I understood that something had to change, that I had to change, I couldn’t continue like this.
I started organizing my day, studying how habits worked and recognizing the bad ones, and eliminating them.
I learned to take breaks, and realized that it is normal to stop every now and then.
I understood the importance of working hard and not procrastinating.
I prefer to work for a very short time and give 100% rather than many hours of work spread throughout the day, in fact now I always leave the evening free, except for some important work that I cannot postpone until the next day.
So I learned that you don’t have to waste time, but every now and then you have to stop and look back to admire all the way we have come.
